We are currently seeking an experienced Mitigation Technician to join our fast-paced team.
This exciting role is for those who have a passion for restoration and construction.
The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring properties that have been damaged by water, fire, or other disasters.
This position requires a unique blend of skills and experience that are specifically focused on the mitigation of damage to structures and systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial restoration and the ability to accurately estimate costs using xactimate software.

Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to emergency service calls as directed, including but not limited to water extraction, pack-out of contents, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, light construction and demolition.
Evaluate and document the cause and origin of the damage within our clients' properties.
Estimate and negotiate water and fire damage claims using xactimate software.
Perform controlled demolition and deconstruction services when required.
Utilize commercial mitigation techniques to minimize damage and restoration costs.
Maintain a clean and organized job site and vehicle, ensuring a professional appearance.
Collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project completion.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, demonstrating a commitment to safety and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions.
IICRC certifications in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and Fire and Smoke Restoration (FSRT) would be considered an asset.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
