We do this by searching locally and internationally for the freshest produce, so we can give our customers the best valueRapidly growing, we are seeking an experienced Grocery Buyer to live our values of abundantly fresh, be accessible, respect each other and to always deliverThe role is available on a full time basis and will be based from Epping.
About the role Tracking sales of fast-moving items and allocating stock safety levels for ease of purchasing Purchasing stock and negotiating with suppliers Forecast sales for seasonal periods, Christmas, Easter etc Negotiate pricing and monthly promotions with suppliers Identify alternate outsourcing opportunities to diversify our suppliers and ensure best quality and freshness at all time Discover and purchase new products and check the quality and popularity of those already on our shelves Create reports on sales, budgets and customer satisfaction and adjust your strategies accordingly Gathering information on market trends and customers reactions to products Managing layout plans of store and maintain inventory of product Liaise with retail store managers to ensure efficient profitable ordering Skills and experience You are experienced with grocery and deli management and buying Be flexible with working hours Be able to travel across stores when required Attention to Detail:
ensuring high levels of accuracy Teamwork:
Willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
You are a strong communicator, responsible for the customer service segment of our business.
